Business Internet User Behaviour Study
The Internet has become a key technology for corporate users, and is now the main communication means for most enterprises. Despite the popularity of Internet services within the business sector, there has been no formal study of the behaviour of corporate Internet users in Hong Kong. There exists a knowledge gap within the industry about corporate Internet users in Hong Kong.
Pacnet, a leading corporate Internet Communications Service Provider in Hong Kong, commissioned Synovate Hong Kong to undertake - PacNet IP Index Hong Kong 2006: "Business Internet User Behaviour Study" and produce a report on the selection criteria and switching intentions of corporate Internet users, as well as government legislations on network security and trends in IT solutions usage in Hong Kong.
PacNet IP Index is an ongoing research project by Pacnet, Asia Pacific's largest telco-independent Internet Communications Service Provider by geographic reach, covering Internet usage and trends across Asia. This year, researches are conducted in several regional countries including Australia, as well as in Singapore, and Hong Kong – where the results will contribute to the overall analyses of Internet usage in Asia Pacific.
